ClickTrek
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Acceptance
By installing, accessing, purchasing, activating, or using ClickTrek, you agree to these Terms. If you use ClickTrek for a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
Service scope
ClickTrek provides a Chrome extension for local workflow capture and annotated PNG export. The free plan supports watermarked exports. ClickTrek Pro adds watermark removal, safe HD export, local redaction tools, hosted activation, activation recovery, and activation on up to 3 devices.
License grant
Subject to these Terms, ClickTrek grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ClickTrek for personal or internal business purposes. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, each ClickTrek Pro activation code is for one end user and up to 3 active devices.
Checkout, payment, and taxes
ClickTrek Pro is sold as a one-time license unless the checkout page clearly says otherwise before payment. The final price, taxes, seller details, and payment terms are shown in Stripe Checkout before payment. Stripe may process payment information under its own terms and privacy notices.
Activation, recovery, and device limits
After successful checkout, ClickTrek provides an activation code. Keep activation codes private. ClickTrek enforces a 3-device active-seat limit through hosted entitlement checks. Deactivating Pro on a device releases that server-tracked device slot after the hosted backend confirms the release. Activation recovery is limited to recent checkout sessions and may require information sufficient to identify the purchase.
Local workflow data and exports
Screenshots, page content, click coordinates, step labels, footer text, redaction regions, and generated exports stay local to the extension. You are responsible for reviewing exports before saving, sharing, publishing, or using them, including confirming that you have the rights and permissions needed for any page content visible in an export.
Acceptable use
- do not interfere with, bypass, reverse engineer, or tamper with security, checkout, activation, entitlement, or device-limit controls
- do not share activation codes publicly, resell them, or use them outside the permitted license scope
- do not use ClickTrek to violate law, third-party rights, website terms, Chrome Web Store rules, or platform policies
- do not submit false payment, refund, chargeback, support, or abuse reports
Third-party services
ClickTrek relies on third-party platforms such as Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, Cloudflare, and Stripe. Those services may be governed by their own terms, privacy notices, security controls, and availability commitments.
Updates and availability
ClickTrek may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, platform changes, provider changes, or product evolution. Hosted services may be unavailable from time to time.
Intellectual property
ClickTrek, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and hosted services, is owned by ClickTrek or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of ClickTrek intellectual property to you.
Refunds
Refund eligibility, billing-error handling, and refund request instructions are described in the Refund Policy. A refund may result in deactivation or revocation of Pro access for the refunded purchase.
Termination
You may stop using ClickTrek at any time. ClickTrek may suspend or terminate access to Pro activation, entitlement refresh, recovery, or support if you materially violate these Terms, misuse activation codes, interfere with service operation, or create legal, security, fraud, or abuse risk.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ClickTrek is provided "as is" and "as available." ClickTrek does not guarantee that every website, page layout, browser state, or third-party platform will support perfect capture, export, activation, or availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ClickTrek will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or substitute services. If liability cannot be excluded, ClickTrek's total liability is limited to the amount paid for ClickTrek Pro during the 12 months before the claim.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, including mandatory consumer, refund, privacy, or payment-dispute rights.
Changes to these Terms
ClickTrek may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The "Last updated" date shows when the current version took effect. Continued use of ClickTrek after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
